Dr Bahauddeen Muhammed Jamaluddeen Nadwi is the founding vice chancellor of Darul Huda Islamic University, Kerala, India. He has authored a number of books, treatises, edited volumes, and translations in Arabic, English and Malayalam. His recent work is the translation of Holy Quran into Malayalam. His works span Qur’anic sciences, Islamic jurisprudence, Hadith, education, Sufism, Comparative Religion, Arabic Language and Literature, and Islamic History.
He is the Editor in Chief of an international Journal of Islamic studies, and a member of regional (Kerala), national, and international organizations. He has visited more than 40 countries and delivered a number of religious, academic and cultural lectures.
